SERVICE UPGRADES
Older houses with a 60A service as most often not covered by insurance, unless the service is upgraded to 100A or 200A. Over time the electrical loads have evolved and there is a need for more power to power up these loads, which may include air conditioners, kitchen appliances, a dryer or more, especially in houses that have a basement apartment.
SERVICE PANEL UPGRADE
While your service size may be sufficient for your house, the service panel may be a fuse panel. Should you require a replacement of the fuse panel with a breaker panel, Saab Electric can help you take the guess work from determining which fuse has blown out.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING
Emergency lighting is important particularly for properties that consist of multi-unit houses, basement apartments or small buildings for rent. The building code requires landlords to have life safety devices in place to protect people living there. These safety devices include emergency lighting, which allows those to see their way out in cases of power failures. As well as smoke, carbon and strobe detectors in case of a fire.
