Current Opportunities
We have an immediate opening for Licensed 309A Construction and Maintenance Electricians.
Job functions include but not limited to:
Main services, transformers, splitters, disconnects, breaker panels, EMT and PVC conduit work, service work (troubleshooting and repairs). Residential and commercial renovations and new builds.
Job Requirements
The candidate must have:
- A high school diploma; an electrical college diploma, vocational or training school is an asset
- A minimum of 1 year experience in functions mentioned above.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
- Good peoples skills: a team player, communication skills, respect for customers, co-workers and others
- leadership skills : lead others, take ownership of tasks and jobs
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
- Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Own quality hand tools and safety shoes
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
Be:
- A member in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades
- Physically fit: high level of endurance, able to bend EMT conduits, put up scaffolding, load/unload supplies, tools and equipment, go up step and extension ladders, go into attics, use heavy duty drills and other power tools
- Systematic and logical in approaching solving problems
- Highly motivated, efficient, and organized
- Able to provide a criminal background check
- Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications and schematics
- Professional in dealing with customers.
- A critical thinker, decision maker
- Detail oriented
